Tootoo inspires team; Predators beat Ducks 4-2

Posted by Varius @ 11:56 PM, Saturday Dec 8th, 2007

Jordin Tootoo had quite a game despite a serious lack of playing time. In under four minutes the feisty forward managed to get a goal, an assist and even get into a fight. That’s what you call quality minutes.

Other Nashville players took notice and Alex Radulov, Ryan Suter and Jerred Smithson (short-handed) put the puck past Ducks’ backup Jonas Hiller. Ryan Getzlaf (short-handed) and Shane Hnidy had the Ducks’ tallies, but it was too little as Nashville started out of the gate with a quick jump over Anaheim.
