Giguere earns first shutout of season; Ducks beat Sharks 2-0

Posted by Varius @ 7:49 AM, Wednesday Dec 19th, 2007

Jean-Sebastien closed the door on all 20 Sharks’ shots to earn his first shutout of this season. Corey Perry had the game-winner while youngster and top Ducks’ prospect Bobby Ryan added the second goal.

Both Sharks and Ducks players agree, their games this season have been tight and exciting, where one lucky bounce or one shot can make all the difference. Obviously, this was the case as San Jose just couldn’t get a break to beat Jean-Sebastien Giguere.

The Ducks avenged a shoot-out loss to San Jose from the other night.
